Possible black panther pictured by dog walker

A dog walker has taken two pictures of what could be a black panther whilst walking their dog in Eymore Wood. The animal poked it’s head out from the brush by the path before darting across the trail in front of the witness, who did amazingly to capture two pretty good photos.

Though the animal does not seem to be very big, and is described as being a ‘juvenile’ by the witness, it does seem to have the characteristics of a panther. In the second picture, you can clearly see a thick, long tail similar to that of the big cat, as well as rounded ears and what appears to be a long muzzle protruding as it faces towards the camera. This muzzle certainly looks to be longer and more protruding than that of a domestic cat which have much more flat faces. While dogs, such as Labradors have a similar muzzle, the rounded ears do not seem to match.
